^ bobbyw wanted these for £100...
...so they are still available.£140. now sold
It won't be getting any lower than that, so please don't ask.
Surely £140 is a good deal for ready-to-roll wheels with pista hubs, record du monde rims and barely used tubs? -

just by the way:
Hi Gaz,
Still available? Would you post? I'll give you £155 posted for them if you would. Thanks,
BobbyAdmittedly, I did then go quiet on them because I found some others, but I would not be so bold as to offer £100 for those wheels! That would be cheeky!

Sorry bobby, you are quite right. It was someone else who offered £100.
Got things muddled up.
**************\\\\\\\\\\\\\NOW SOLD/////////////////////////////////*******************
Bought these just for the hubs a couple of weeks ago, but they're so nice as a wheelset, I thought I'd see if anyone on here wanted them whole, so I can fund some hubs that I've spotted elsewhere... If not I'll keep them for the meantime.
Campagnolo Pista hubs, 36h laced to Mavic Record du Monde de l'Heure tubular rims (only 270g per rim).
The hubs are in fairly good nick, spinning well, with one or two areas of minor pitting when you get right up close. Nice n shiny when you stand back.
The rims have one or two marks, but nothing too serious. They come with the original Giro d'Italia gumwall tubs that are are in great condition and hold air to a high pressure.
All in all, an extremely light vintage track wheelset, ready to roll.
They are tied and soldered for extra stiffness.
100mm front / 120mm rear spacing.
Better photos to come.
Looking for what I paid: £150 *//////////SOLD\\\\\*
I'm off on holiday as of Sunday night, so looking for a quick sale!
