I have one of these locks and there might be heavy but you wont find a better lock. Perfect for locking your bike and leaving no room for a mini jack.
The only way to break this lock I think it's by using power tools.
You are only carrying about one extra kilo, if you think you still need to carry a lighter lock. You notice that only when you load your rucksack but after a couple of minutes you don't even notice the extra weight.
