I had to fill a router tear in my first guitar's neck pocket and a random gouge on the edge of the fretboard of the last one I did. I'm aiming to not let anyone know about any mistakes next time have to fill anything on the next one.

Totally. Those are just the visible ones. We don't talk about the ones on the inside of the neck-pocket or pickup cavities etc.

Part of my boatbuilding apprenticeship was building this toolbox. It's all made with hand tools, and the dovetails are cut and chiseled by hand. Mitred dovetails in the lid, and the trays inside are all made with invisible,internal dovetails.

Just took delivery of a pair of panthers(we have a mirrored one already) plus another chimp. Also gonna knock up a little scaff trapeze for her to hang onto.

2ft wide, 14ft to the point, 12ft to the bottom of the 3ft circle. The circle is going to be filled with frosted acrylic with a graphic on it then a light beamed onto it. Tomorrows job is covering it with aluminium formica which should be fun

I'm definitely deft with the hammer and saw and some concepts, but I'd love to get my chisel skills up!

Thanks again for the notes. Now all I need to do is find a gallery/collection here in the UK that supports my practice (as my work is largely site-specific that can be hard sometimes)!
