I am sworn to secrecy on location and the film but I can say it will be on four nights a week for 4 weeks through November in East London they are looking for cyclists particularly mechanics to be part of the performance between about 6-8pm so I am looking for people to commit to at least one evening a week for the length of the performance.

^^ As I said to say would be to give it away however two of the films listed rate as the worst films I have ever seen so I would probably have declined to invite had they been using one of them

So far I have had 8 volunteers so it looks like this is a goer starts next Weds the 31st

I'm still looking for people to give a hand with this it is running all November on Thurs, Fri, Sat and sunday nights from 6-8pm

Went to look at the venue yesterday great location and really exciting programme so hoping we can get a frew people interested to make this a goer.

Why should we be expected to volunteer for a paid event?

neu good question which I asked myself the answer really is that it will be a pretty amazing experience I went to the venue yesterday and it is great. Our role is fairly minor but those fully involved in the project are getting paid.

I was just wondering because the tickets are quite pricey, but it looks like quite a big event, like a mini festival. Looks looks like a lot of fun, i can see why people would volunteer. Sorry to derail.

I've been to Secret Cinema before as a paying schlub and it really is a lot of fun, worth the steep ticket price. But it's the stuff leading up to the film itself that's the fun bit and as a volunteer you basically get to go to the best bit of the night for free.
