Not so sure, the winner was Japanese.

No better place to look at 20 shelves of crap earphones before buying something 40% cheaper online.

I buy CDs there. I spent about £80 last time I went. I like looking at the pictures on the sleeves and sometimes reading the lyrics. I like browsing through, say, the folk or reggae section to find things I hadn't heard of that might be related to something I like. I like looking at people and the music they are looking at. I like giving my money to a real person and cycling home with all the CDs feeling heavy in my rucksack, it's like the feeling of a heavy stocking at christmas. I like putting the CDs in order on my bookcase and looking at the different coloured spines, especially Island records like John Cale or Tom Waits because they have a rainbow on them.

I like going to my local record store because 99% of the music stocked is good. They have no pop shite and also have an extensive selection of music on vinyl.
There's also the bonus that you're not feeding a huge corporation and that the smile that you get is genuine.

^I spend alot of time looking through Vinyl in camden and Notting Hill as well, but sometimes I have a long list of essential stuff I need to own, and the original pressings of classic albums can either be very expensive or in terrible condition.
HMV might be a huge corporation, but I still feel that by supporting them I am taking a small stand against illegal downloading and filesharing which is taking money away from artists.

Isn't it just the most cringing bollox ever?? Just Youtube 'Tiny Iron' if you want more of that blokes jibbering shite. He looks a complete state. He injects synthol into himself to make himself look that size. When you watch him doing the tricep pull downs, his actual tricep doesn't move much at all. Lame.
There is only so much synthol you can inject. This guy has good muscular genetics, uses steroids, trains hard and tops it off with synthol. I would consider him very dedicated to what he does, not many people would and the results would probably be poor anyway.
Doesn't mean he aint a knob, but to hate him for his appearance/hobby is a bit shallow, even bigoted and probably shows signs of envy.
On a related note, I was on the receiving end of some very harsh roid rage today. From someone who I thought was a really nice guy, and whom with I thought I got on really well. Out of the blue he flips and ends up being really fucking nasty.
Am a bit shell shocked from it.

^^ Money is only being taken from the artists because they're signed to greedy record labels who spout out all sorts of pop shite. If the corporations took less money for themselves then the records wouldn't be quite as expensive - less people seeing the point of downloading.
I'm not against big companies. I just dislike people getting paid a fucktonne for doing nothing helpful.

Loads of racist twats getting their knickers in a twist in the comments section that there might be a black james bond.

I don't think Idris Elba should be Bond. I've seen Luther.

We had a similar thing happen to us in Toxteth, Liverpool. We left a car there for a weekend when we were at university (bad idea). When we came back to get it the road had been resurfaced and the car was no where to be seen. We spoke to the council who had not removed it so we then went to chat to some of the local residents who told us that a council worker had phoned a pick up truck to come and collect it. The pick up truck had stolen it and taken it down the docks to scrap it. The police told us that around 5 cars a week were getting taken this way. Moral of the story, don't leave a rover metro in Toxteth for a weekend.

How is that similar?
The fail in the pic has to do with a paving crew that either was too lazy to have a car removed, or was intimidated by the local mafioso into leaving the car alone. -

Someone left their van on my road during the works. They didn't tow it away, but slapped a fine. There's still a gap in a double yellow line till this day.

Punching the wall because I'm dark and moody and troubled would be one thing, but punching it because I'm a kackhanded doofus is just annoying.
