Best place to read about making Campag and Shimano stuff work together is probably Chris Juden's article on the CTC website - if I could be arsed searching for "shimergo" I'd find the link for you.
In fact, here goes - http://www.ctc.org.uk/desktopdefault.aspx?tabid=3946. Nice little tables to tell you what'll play nicely together - all depends on what you've currently got, and how much you're prepared to tinker.
