Nottingham Fixed Gear: FB Group

Nottingham Fixed Gear is still going strong, we've a group up on Facebook:

Regular Events:

Monday nights for a ride into the countryside and back, generally around 30 miles. Meet at Broadway Cinema at 7.30pm

We play Polo on Wednesdays at 7.00pm (meeting at The Orange Tree pub in town).

im part of the cambirdge crew but am at lincoln uni during term time
as lincoln has nothing to offer in terms of cycling let alone fixed gear
therefore would love to come a ride with the nottingham lot frequently
not sure what train are like back to lincoln - late evening though

can't wait to join you lot.
any chance of anything Thursday night, maybe Friday day/ night...

For sure man, you should just put a post on the FB - i think most of us check that more - but i'd be up for a ride if im not working!

waiting for some cousins, then have to spend all of tomorrow at the Uni office.

might get involved when i come up to uni in nottingham next month, need to build my bike first though haha

Hey Nottingham poloists, so the LHBPA has had a re-vamp and one of our projects this year is to set gears in motion towards a UK association. What's the status with you guys and how do you feel about the idea of a UK association?

Now the weather's picking up a few more rides seem to be getting organised, if you're interested details are on the facebook group.

Carnival of Cycling is due to take place on Saturday 18 June and we're hoping to organise some bike polo matches. Anyone want to get involved with this and help organise?
