how does the size measure up against other gloves - I've got big palms and just wanted to clarify as I don't want them to be too big too!

Hey, i think overall these gloves measure up smaller to normal gloves. I usually wear large (or large fitting mediums) but here I had to buy XL second time round. This here is actually quite a good guide for measuring and worked well for me:
