Looks like it might break free by itself if you did!

After a few years of riding full sus when mountain biking, tomorrow I'm off out on my rigid on-one inbred for some muddy jolty pureness! I can't even remember the last time I did mtbing without some kind of suspension, bloody excited!
We're heading down to the North downs if any other folks are out there.... give us a wave as you fly past on your bouncy bikes! -

Oh wait - are we back to Sundays? Can't tomorrow but will in future.

Ben, no fixed day for swinley, was the saturday thing the bar to you coming?
S1mon, want to come to Swinley?
Plan is to catch either the 10.27 or 10.57 from Barnes to Martins Heron, arriving at 11.13 or 11.43
who is in, and what time works best?
-
• #3706
Happy to get the earlier one but either works for me.

Cheers DJ but I've already got plans to drive down to Leith with a couple of mates who aren't 'on here' and reorganising them is a nightmare at the best of times let alone the night before a ride! Will definitely get to Swinley (or wherever) with you guys next time though, its been too long since I've been mtbing and pretty sure it'll only take a few minutes riding dirt to be fully hooked again!
Have a good ride everyone who does head to Swinley tomorrow..... -

Yeah Saturdays are rubbish for me nowadays. Sundays are doable in general but can't make tomorrow.

Pretty much guaranteed, moving to Queenstown, New Zealand for a year.

James/Tom, this is the DH monster bike thing I mentioned today.
It was the more interesting alternative to taking the cable car back down to Saas Grund in the Swiss Alps. They had a couple of Monster Bikes and a whole army of Monster Trottis. The latter being flat bed scooter things but made from girders and with quad bike wheels. Not sure I would want to try either on a World Cup DH track but they were awesomely good fun for just hooning it back down the town after a day climbing the mountains :).

Check out the Kennett brothers if you haven't already - pretty central to the NZ MTB scene and heavily involved in opening up and extending some great trails. They're worth following on facebook

-

Next to a railway, in potters bar. It's rubbish and flat and even more boring than my vid shows. Next time I'll do more skids...
nope don't think that will ever be locked up
