Tourney: Amsterdam Beneligue Weekender - 2012/10/20-21

The 20th is comfirmed for Amsterdam. We start on saturday around 12.30 and end early sunday evening. Of course everybody is welcome to come on friday for some pre-tourney games.

Small update:

The tournament will take place on the 20th and 21st of oktober. Of course everybody is free to come on friday to get used to the court and play some throw-ins.

HOUSING
As free housing is limited in Amsterdam and you might want to be sure about having a bed we have two tips; http://www.campingamsterdamsebos.nl/ (10 euro's p.p. if you are with 7 others) if you rather stay down-town check out http://www.flyingpig.nl/ (starting at 22,50 p.p.).

REGISTRATION
Registration for teams opens this sunday (23rd of september) at 12.00 (noon). The tournament is limited to 16 teams, so don't wait till the last moment. For registration, email the following to erikflens@gmail.com:

Went well today, started with a good win, lost against a good team, lost to a team we could have beaten, then won our last two games, 7th out of 18.

Pobocops (Robert, Shadowman & Johanna) are leading, Simons Says from Antwerp are also doing really well.

4 more games of the last swiss round left, then double elim, we are playing Pit Ponies (who played earlier), or Team Green Amsterdam (Raul's Team)

The double elim will start at 9:30am UK time.

We are playing Octoberfist, Eddy's team, in the first round.

Too bad I could not play today, got injured in the 2th last game yesterday, result of waiting long and playing in the dark (with lights). Hopefully Polo phonies will do well with their sub.

Pobocops (Johanna, Philip, Robert) Won the 20 minute final,5-2 against Simon says (Nicky, Jaouad, Ward).

Was Robert MVP? He stood out in Konstanz 2011 (Imperia 2), serious skills.

I don't know if Robert was MVP but he surely stood out.
