and elsewhere says the sale ends in 6 days which could mean that its the 3rd, surely that woudl be sale ends 9th then delivery after that

Think it's the same concept as gilt.com . Manufacturers have leftover stock, these kind of places buy it up cheap on the premises that it won't be a 'public' sale, ie not heavily advertised and therefore not detrimental to the brand

I wear my howies merino tshirt all the time (the plain "vail" one), I sold the rapha one... I seem to always have a wapha track top on or about my person, but other than that, I get a lot more wear out of howies (currently wearing a merino raglan-sleeved top, really like the cut).
