• Hi guys,

looking to sell this beautiful 80's Raleigh 531, 60cm. Story goes this was a bike provided by a shop for a rider, the shop had it painted by raleigh back in the 80's and did a fantastic job!

The original saddle got bitten by mice so this is the replacement. I do however have a Concor saddle (which original owner said that's what it had) so I can fit one on for the price of £30. This bike does have a very interesting history, the original owner got struck by lightning a few days after this bike was build, and the original owner said it hasn't been ridden ever since! I did buy this bike to add to my collection, but what good is a bike that's too big for you? I like to ride my bikes!

I do have the parts to complete this bike as a full Campagnolo super record groupset if you wish, but c'mon, original is always best

Chap who owned it before took real good care of it, told me he took it out his workshop every few years and cleaned, pumped the tyres up and maintained it since brand-new.
