Just need to check but will a UN26 bottom bracket be compatible with a Miche Primato Advanced crankset?

^ Not really. Primato is ISO taper and UN26 is JIS.
If you install an ISO crank on a J.I.S. spindle, it will sit about 4.5 mm farther out than it would on an ISO spindle of the same length. (source: sheldon)
You can do it if you have to, but it'll mean you'll have to bodge chainline

the above means that you can indeed use the two together as long as you make sure to get a spindle that is exactly 9mm shorter to compensate.
