1955 and tall? ouch I am going to struggle here as there dont seem to be any tall 50 year old bikes in the south of france. I sold a 1955 bike on sunday, so I will have to go with this green one that I am keeping.
Its a brazed frame, vitus tubing, tubular tyres on maxi hubs.
I think it is rather special but have not researched it fully yet. I have set the seat and bars in the same place as my 60cm bikes so I can ride this, the front derailleur is a joy to use.
alu bar and stem, and the deraileur works the other way, push forward to go into a climbing gear. Bizarre! I love it.
