I admire the commitment, although price is an issue. I have a lovely 60's French frame with Nervex lugs and in 531. Trouble is that the bottom bracketing totally stripped and it needs a respray. As such, no-one is interested in it. My advice is to spend little on this, much as you like it, the second hand market is littered with reasonable frames at cheapish prices. SJS cycles for the bottom bracket. Look at Sheldon Brown for advice, but good luck regardless.
Yeah, i'm commited alright, or is that needing to be commited somewhere with soft walls? Anyway, there is 'crack fox' on the forum, he's local to me and does brazing. Waiting to hear from him, should be cheaper as no travel cost.
