Paul, is there an update, hopefully full of hookups?
I will happily write a profile for anyone who wants one.
We're so far up to seventeen. Don't worry, you won't all get the same back. I'm amazed that so many people trust me!

Not a jot.
And I can't really name anyone because that wouldn't be fair.

How about those that got lucky from you prose?

Going to a pro defeats the object.

Museum of Childhood, the V&A's outpost in Bethnal Green for nostalgia and getting to be a bit silly in all the exhibits.
Swimming in Brockwell Lido followed by close-sitting, shivering and coffee in the 1930s cafe.
Climbing at the The Castle on Tuesday night.
Whitechapel Gallery followed by epic Vietnamese food.
Jazz at The Vortex. Bring your own pizza. Order in a curry.
Get beers and hang out on a stoop in the sun.
Member's room coffee in the Tate Modern.
Polpo/Polpetto/Mishkin's with too many cocktails, memorable - if haphazard kissing at Embankment Station. -

Going for first date drinks somewhere in Dalston / Stoke newington tonight - any tips for somewhere relaxed but nice in Dalston? I know the deal in Stokey but don't go drinking in Dalston that much

Barden's Boudoir is pretty chilled, not a great selection of booze though.
The Duke of Wellington on Balls pond road is nice, they do pretty tasty food as well.
The little mexican place called Viva on the corner opposite Nandos is nice too. They do nice food and good cocktails.

if you can wait till tomorrow night you could hook up with the easts drinks crowd .. less romantic admittedly, but you can watch in amazement as Blue Quinn eats a whole 1/4 pound burger in one inc. french fries
she'll be amazed ! and guaranteed to love you forever

Nobody needs to see that.

lock your bikes very carefully outside the scolt head famous for bike thefts
-
• #721
Don't go to the Scolt's Head if you're planning on taking a bike. massive bike stealing hotspot.

reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

• #723
I'd recommend the Wellington, too. The Scolt Head is so busy.

how things change Oliver. in 1986 the welly was a lesbian only pub (unless invited by wimmin), whereas the scolt was a nice local boozer (and the landlord tolerated skinning up)
anyway, sound advice ref bike thefts, which is sad

Thanks for the tips all. Turns out we're off to Jolly Butchers. Her suggestion, and I'm not going to turn down the chance to sup some fine ales whilst trying to impress
CBA to read the whole thread, but my top tip for a first date is to take her/him up the Oxo tower.
