A teenage boy was knocked off his bike by a hit and run driver.

The youth was cycling along the A428 West Haddon Road in Crick at around 6.45am today when he was hit by a car which failed to stop at the scene.

The victim was carrying out his paper round wearing a high visibility jacket and had lights on his bike.
