^^ fwiw IME the last iteration of these, called the Fixed Short, is nicer than the current model. The old one is a great Schoeller softshell-like fabric, and the new ones are basically a sturdy cotton. I want a new pair and have been looking on the bay for the old model, and considering the Swrve version from the U.S. store which uses a Schoeller fabric. If that helps.
