  • The 'usual' method is to let the agent deal with offers but, as you've already agreed a price with the vendow, explain that to the agant and they will get it confirmed.

    Well done. I hope it does turn out to be the place of your dreams. Perhaps have a nose round the area at different times of the day to see if all's well at all hours unless you know the street well. I'm thinking hoards of school kids or a rush hour rat run, etc.. Also maybe knock on a couple of neighbours' doors and ask questions.

    It's exciting but nerve racking at the same time.

    We've had a look around the area, nice parks near by. The road whilst we were there which was commuting time was quite quiet for that time of day. Friends who live nearby have said it's a nice area.

    Saying that we will probably take another trip up there tomorrow morning to have a look.

    The lady phoned again this morning at 7am to confirm she's accepted the offer. I'll ring the estate agent when they open to inform them.
