I know this is a stupid reason not to, but i hate how they feel in the wet with dirty rims, its like my brake pads are made of sand paper. I can stop just fine without, i ride much safer, i do maintain my chain and everything, so i see no reason to have one.
Why? it had plenty of clearance already.
