I've heard he keeps the splash guard on...

It's actually to stop me hitting myself in the face with my tool(s). Make of that what you will.

That Rapha jacket reminds me of a Lacoste ski jacket a bloke at school had which was ridonculously expensive in 1982 - liberated from a Frenchsupermarket on a Spurs away trip. it was very tasty, even in burgundy

I really like the transfer jacket. Looks pretty fucken rad.
-
• #9685
Take away the fact they've called it a 'Transfer' jacket and posited it as a pre/post ride wear, it's a great looking jacket. Just not when you're riding a bike

^ that was my initial thought.
it has now been returned to rapha though. the cut is just too "bike"
unless you are wearing a crop top any tshirt or shirt hangs down far below the hem of the jacket which just looks weird. its well made and very comfortable but i wish they had made it more for off the bike rather than on as it just doesnt look right unless you are wearing cycling clothes. -

As I said up there ^ if you want something made exactly as you like, have a look at www.phdesigns.co.uk and design your own.

Maybe head to the 'bay and search for vintage ski jackets

+! for phd. amazing stuff. If you're a bit cheap and wana brave the cooler climes (and climbs) then alpkit should see you through.

My 32" ones? I would think so, when the replacement 34" ones turn up.
I've got pair of 34"s in Black that are too big for me. The only thing is they are about 2 years old now but I've never really worn them that much so they're still in good nick.
PM me if your interested.

+2 for PhD. Minumus jacket is great for a lazy commute in the chill.
Although I wish they were called DPhil...

they should do a cheaper, quicker MRes version too.

Sorry for asking
But ...where can I find the 20% code please? -
• #9697
Sorry, I don't think there are 20% offers at the moment. However, enter the code Y0UW15H at the checkout for a 15% discount.

It is expensive but Primaloft ONE is too... and it's amazing stuff. It's easily the best synthetic insulation I've used - not that far off good-quality down and not as affected by moisture (down clumps and becomes useless) which should make it good for post-workout use.
Then again if you have money to burn and don't care about looking good, get a Patagonia Nano-Puff jacket/pullover in whatever fluoro colours they're making this year and be happy. I wear mine constantly through the winter climbing season, often paired with a down jacket over the top. Love it.
The green thing. Not quite Rapha styling but amazing.
