Hopefully the Bontrager jacket I just bought will provide moderate warmth so that at this time of year I can just wear that and a shirt but then layer up when it gets colder. I totally agree with DJs comment about not wanting a "do it all jacket" so hopefully this will bridge the gap between a non-waterproof hoodie and my thick as anything ski jacket that has been keeping my dry but boiling me on my bike the last couple of years.
