Beautiful Rourke!

in answer FT were made in Bologna and this is pretty much identical to a Super record headset. The framesets are both in very very good shape with the odd marks and small chips but are real head turners especially when built up/ cycleaddict is right!

loving the harry hall!

dear forumites/ im always a bit surprised by the prices some supposed classic frames from the continent go for and then we have really pretty unique examples of handbuilt homegrown craftsmanship that gets to hang around for not really lots of money/ anyhow perhaps im biased/great framesets make very sensible offers and i may listen/ im in a fix otherwise wouldnt really like to sell---hey ho i know its tight for most of us.

I know what you mean dr.f. I think it's that people want something that they saw their heros, Merckx, Moser etc ride on. Even if it was factory produced. I have even ridden regularly with Brian, many many years ago and feel drawn to this as it looks lovely but it would mean a divorce. And that would be even more expensive than full price!

The Rourke is really quite beautiful. Are you certain the seat tube is 56 c-c (which would be my size)? The head tube looks very short for a 56 frame.
