The LFC faithful expected instant results (as they do every season) and AVB arrived with the Chelsea sacking still like a millstone around his neck.
The Spuds faithful didn't actually expect anything.
Also, AVB doesn't have the blind optimism surrounding him that Brenda does and he doesn't look like the world's against him. I'm even inclined to say that there's a terrible whiff of negativity around Brenda.
