  • Boo!

You have made your choice. Now live with it.

  • Looking for some spares to get my Hope going again. http://www.lfgss.com/thread94503.html#post3167996 Is that still what TRNC rides these days or did you all upgrade to more lumen.

  • hey claus, good to hear from you again!

I think the hope will always be a player at TNRC. Few people are 'investing' in Exposures though :)

  • Boo!

Hope is still the default light for a tuesday night

  • 200 lumens is more than enough. Any more and the TNRC ambience is lost in a blaze of light!

    Long live the Hope 1!!!

  • Surrey 5 hills 9/10/12
32 miles of ups and downs, Effingham Junction start/finish.
    £5/6 odd with GS4. Waterloo 19.02

  • Looking forward to this after today's assault on the legs...

  • Never done surrey hills evar. Sad, really. Would assume fixed will be pretty gruelling for little old me. But still tempted.

  • I quite fancy doing it fixed at a gentlmen's pace as well - give in to the temptation skully. Maybe rotfl action yesterday will have slowed Ben down a tad. Weather doesn't look inspiring though...

  • I dont think I can muster even a gentlemen's pace. It'll be little girl's pace for me.

PLus I'm touch n go with work atm. Should probably actually do some so i can get out there. signs out

  • I did the 5-hills route last week and it was very muddy and slippery in places. Ride carefully.

  • Cheers Will - tbh that and the forecast for tomorrow probably says stay at home.

  • Tomorrow's weather is going to be ok isn't it? Tho it would take more than a week for the sludge on the road to clear.

Just put my cards on the table; I've been feeling pretty shonky all the last week so baring a miracle healing I'm out.

  • hoping for a late entry, but will have to see what has happened at work while I've been away.
fingers crossed as I guess there arent too many left this year?

  • Gazing from my fourth storey office window in the general direction of the Surrey Massif the weather looks unseasonably clement. I will be riding fixed 49-20, so a gentlemanly pace will suit.

  • I will be riding out to Effingham.

  • I woke up reflecting on the phonic similarity of TNRC and Tennessee. And proceeded to the thought that if TNRC were a rap collective, it handily rhymes with Hennessy.

  • really want to do this ride but got too much on at the mo. dam. have a good ride

  • Which TNRC'er was it that I had a lengthly conversation with in the rooftop pool about the online ticketing industry? He worked at ticketmaster... I'm interested in asking him opinions on the industry for part of a scathing critique of the industry at large in a white paper :)
