The sound is on the drive side towards the rear, I already ensured the chainring bolts are tight as it was brand new. The BB is brand new pretty much, I've also removed it a couple of times to clean the BB tube and fill it with grease.
I have checked everything, even bought a new chain despite the old one not being that old. The hub bearings are the only thing I haven't checked, I can't see how it will be anything else especially as its not as smooth as it used to be. If I'm honest I want to change them anyway just so I can rule it out even if it doesn't sold the problem.
