I'm selling my IF Planet Cross, sized 62 cm x 62 cm c-c. I had it built when I was doing a lot of racing & did a handful of races on it one season, but then I stopped racing & for the intervening 10 years it has mainly sat collecting dust. I built it up again a few years ago with some of my old road parts & have ridden it a bit, but if I'm doing a road ride it's not the right bike, and for the city I've got the fixed, so you get the picture...
Steel frame & fork, Paul's neo-retro cantis, Dura Ace parts (with XTR bottom bracket, so that the spacing will work), Thompson post, Selle Italia Flite, no pedals. Some chain slap & a few other chips to paint. Needs new brake pads & cables, plus hubs should be overhauled, spokes are 15-16 double butted & I'm too heavy for that now so the rear wheel has popped a couple spokes, and the tapers / octolink for the right side crankarm are harshed (it is fine for the road, but if you raced or rode it off road it'd probably loosen up). 180 mm cranks, 44 cm c-c deep drop bars, Shown with vittoria dry condition tyres, also comes with vittoria mud tyres. Also, currently set up with road gearing (54/39 & 12-25), but I'll throw in a 48t chainring & a 12-27 cassette so you can switch it up to cross gearing.
What am I forgetting? Oh yeah, it has a Salsa stem (Petaluma made, if you're into that), Stronglight headset. It is 1" quill type, which seemed like a good idea at the time. Needs new bar tape. I was doing a bunch of track racing when this was built so it is made to stand up to a large strong rider. I don't know what it weighs.
I have intermittent internet access at the moment, so I'll try & respond as swiftly as possible but there may be a bit of a lag so apologies in advance.
