Ksyrium Equipe v. Campag Zonda

Posted on
  • I have a new bike (Canyon) on order and it comes with Ksyrium Equipe wheels. I have a set of almost new Campag Zondas from my old bike sitting around and I'm tempted to put them on the new one (so I can sell the Equipes as 'almost new' to be honest). Would this be a mistake? I liked the Zondas a lot and they're very light. My mechanic friend always rates Ksyriums and thinks I should keep 'em on the bike . But he has an anti Campag thing goin' which drives me nuts.
    Any advice appreciated!

  • Sorry but the zondas are infinitely better. They are lighter, stronger and have better build quality. I just got a set of fulcrum 3 (aka zonda's for non campag kids) on my Canyon.

  • Thanks. I think I will swap the wheels over and keep the Ksyriums for my son's next bike. I think Zondas are under-rated. They're quite light at 1555g for the money as well as being well built.

  • i got a pair of 2011 zondas on my wilier for my training rides & its still rides awesome until now.. very light & strong wheels.. keep it!
