Sow doubt on the venue, and fewer people turn up.
I was in the mood to go yesterday but was uncertain that you'd be at the Raven, not sure where else people might have gone if they weren't, and chose to have a drink at home with my girl instead.
People like decisiveness, clear instructions, and for everyone else to say they're onboard and will be there.
All we've had all week is: Should we move? Where shall we go? Do we all agree about moving?
Lots of doubt = very few people will turn up.
If we do move, do it quickly, be decisive and get as many people along so that the new venue is accepted fast. Doubt will just kill Wests (like Easts was killed for a long time until they got a venue they all agreed on).
