26 x 1 3/4 Westwood Rims and BIG chains

Cheers for this thread! I am looking for 28 x 1 1/2" rims, don't really wanna spend a lot as this is going to be a bit of a beater (found the old roadster frame in the canal, frame: beautiful condition. Everything else: rusted thru)

Apparently Simpson Cycles stock them at around £20 each. But I am still shopping around so anything you've come across let me know!

Also what's the deal with brakes on these steel rims, where can I source some new pads?

Could you send me a link to their website? I am lookin for a fixed gear rim thats 26 x 1 3/4 but can not find one anywhere for cheapish.

Also on a side note, All I need is a 26 in rim could I get 1/2 or 1.25 and it still work if it was originally 1 3/4?
