Hi, just joined. Apparently I need to make 3 contributions before I can post a question of my own. In the meantime does anyone have a view on what sort of brake levers I should use when I convert my old track bike for road use? Top of bar or on the drops?

IMO putting cross-top levers on drops just looks silly, I used road levers (or risers, they don't look as cool but they're hella comfy)

shirley it depends on if you tend to ride on the drops or not? safety first and all that?

Who rides on the drops??

Hi im new here and new to bikes in general. 1st yr of uni and want to dedicate some free time for my 1st bike build project. My aim is to use as many used parts as possible. Single speed.
