For Sale: Dave Yates & Dave Russell frames

Dave Yates Reynolds 725 frame in 'Cadburys purple' metallic with Shimano 600 headset. It's had a few scrapes over its life but the paintwork is generally in good condition. Nicely cut out bottom bracket with cable guides and Reynolds steel aero fork.

Dave Russell frame with Campagnolo Record headset. Lovely D.R. pantographed chrome forks. Possibly for time trials as it has a very short wheelbase and tight clearances: 20 or 21mm tyres only.
No idea of the tubing but the seat tube is 27.2mm and the frame, forks and headset weigh a combined 2.1kg so it's something pretty handy. Vertical drop outs but works with 47 x 18 and a half-link chain shoud you want to run it single speed.

Yup but usually people are decent about it and don't try to gazump others without giving the other person a bit of courtesy. I pm ed too and haven't heard anything as yet from the seller

That is different....but i know people on here who ignore dibs.

Price drop on the Russell

The russel is immaculate- did you have it resprayed? Or is it nos?

I bought it like that a couple of years ago, I seem to recall the chap who sold it said it had been refurbished by Argos but I've only his word for that.

I've built it up a couple of times in the hope that I'd use it but it's always been a bit small for me and another frame has come along to replace it.
