A couple of months ago, perhaps against my better judgement, I bought a beach cruiser frame from London's famous LFGSS member Luckyskull.
It was cheap and I felt I could make a nice job of it. I notice the pic in the original classified ad has gone but it's almost definitely this frame in this colour:
The paintwork is in a so-so condition but covered in duck tape and tinfoil for some reason.
To do
tidy up the frame
put snazzy cranks/chainring on and possibly a chainguard
put Schwalbe Fat Franks on
build up a rear wheel with coaster hub
put a mini V on the front
To be decided
Frame colour OR strip and clearcoat and make it a rat beach cruiser?
snazzy chainguard or snazzy cranks?
old sprung leather saddle or modern padded affair?
what to do with it in the end? It's actually too small for me and I ain't got space
I'll keep this thread updated as I go. Not gonna spend too much on parts as I just want a gentle winter project. Any tips welcome.
