What is up.
New parts:
Wheels courtesy of SKULLS.
Broby C60's laced to carbon fibre Suzue Pro Max hubs:
Kashimax Aero courtesy of Tokyo Fixed:
Having some trouble getting the wheels on due to the size of the physical axle. The spacing is fine but the drop out and fork are a bit weird. Will try to post a photo later.

straight profile dropout with round axle? may need to file the axles.
-
• #206
That's exactly the issue yeah. I will be needing to file them :-(
-
• #207
what happened to the other wheelset?

• #208
dibs

• #209
I saw these and fell in love ;-) hadn't actually paid the guy yet, was waiting for the post office to create my foreign currency account and saw these in the mean-time. Cost more, but it's worth it, they're beautiful, in a very HHSB way.

Great hubs. Think you might want to change that saddle after a few miles...
James, having seen Jake in the flesh and knowing the dimensions of the bike I reckon he'll be fine this time. Also I bought mine off my face at 3am on ebay, just cause I liked the colour, and it turned out to be a perfect fit.

Ta. And after the amount of cash I just had to fork out for it, I will be riding it for a very long time.

Its basically a concor anyway which I found to be very comfy.

• #213
Oh shitballs. I just bought a new rear for mine yesterday, Goldtec laced to ceramic open Pros. Awesome. But your post above has reminded me of the tiny track ends. And as Goldtecs have internally threaded axles I won't be able to file them down.

Jake, those wheels are rad, I'm jelly as fuck!
-

Ben
Do you have a rear brake? If not then why use a ceramic open pro when the rim is twice as expensive for the coated braking surface?
-
• #216
What tom said. Perfect example of how braklz Roadie works.
B&D I have nothing to say other than fuck you.

Broby C60's laced to carbon fibre Suzue Pro Max hubs:
how safe are these hubs for brakless skids?

Tehe thanks spatr. Did you make it to London okay, or are you still in deepest darkest?
adds joke brawn to ignore
No :-(
how safe are these hubs for brakless skids?
Mark seemed to be fine on the Condor and that was brakeless. I don't think I'll be going around hop skidding any time soon though. The flanges are still the same as normal Pro Max's, it is just the bridge between them that is carbon fibre.
