I’ve just sorted out a couple of excellent track frames and some road frames. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.

VIKING TRACK FRAME 1960s

Rear dropout width: 112mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 55mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
This Viking track frame dates I think from the early 1960s. Its in very sound condition but could probably do with a repaint – I am not certain the forks are original but they are certainly of the correct pattern. A great opportunity to get a track frame at a bargain price... £135

BRITON TRACK FRAME c1980 Nervex Pro Lugs
Seat Tube (ctt): 22in (56cm)

Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C
BB threading: English
This Briton track frame from the late 70s or early 1980s is built with Nervex Pro lugs and very close clearances – they are so close that the seatstay, chainstay bridges and fork crown have had reliefs cut into them. The paint is in generally very sound condition with a number of small unobtrusive marks. The rear track dropouts have been shortened a little... The fork crown could be drilled if required. An excellent pure track frame at a very reasonable price. £175

RALEIGH RITMO ROAD FRAME 1991 ** New Old Stock**
Seat Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 42mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 501
This 1991 Raleigh Ritmo frame has never been used or built-up – it came without a fork and I have paired it with an excellent Reynolds 653 race fork with suitable geometry to match the frame. The frame’s paint is unmarked but the fork has a number of small marks. £89

CLAUD BUTLER SIERRA TOURING FRAME c1986

Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with brake drop of 60mm
Seatpost size: 26.6mm
This Claud Butler touring frame was built I think around 1985–6; it has mounts on the rear stays for a rear rack. The paint is quite attractive though it has a few rather serious marks... These could be improved greatly by careful touching up. An excellent touring frame that could also be easily used as a fixed or singlespeed conversion. £85

OLMO ROAD FRAME Dedacciai tubing 1990s
Seat Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 55mm
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Frame tubing: Dedacciai
This Olmo road frame dates from the early 1990s and is built from Dedacciai tubing. Its in very nice condition though it has been touched not too well in some places. However when built up these marks will not be so apparent. It could easily be used as a fixed or singlespeed conversion with its horizontal dropouts. £89

SONDEL SPORT ROAD FRAME 1970s Nrevex Pro lugs

Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with brake drop of 65mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Sondel Sport frame dates I think from the 1960s and is built with Nervex Pro lugs and almost certainly Reynolds 531 double butted tubing. The paint is in veru useable condition with just a few marks. The long Campag dropouts make it ideal as a fixed or singlespeed conversion. £75

RALEIGH ROAD FRAME 1984

Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with brake drop of 60mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted main tubes
Very large quality road frames such as this are not very common - this Raleigh is in very sound condition though the paint has been retouched in quite a number of places. With horizontal dropouts it will make a simple conversion. £75

NORMAN WOMENS FRAME 1940s/50s Reynolds 531
Seat Tube (ctt): 22in (56cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 23.5in (59cm)
Rear dropout width: 112mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with brake drop of 58mm
This is a rather attractive larger women’s road frame built with Reynolds 531 main tubes from the 1950s - the paint is really quite scruffy but the character of the very ornate original decals still shine through. It could be easily used a singlspeed conversion or with a Sturmey hub gear. £45

Hilary, Thanks for your reply. I have had a good look on your website - some seriously beautiful bikes on there!! Absolutely love the Moser track frame on there, but miles out of the price range!

Perhaps you could offer some advice - 5'10", 32" inside leg. What frame size would you recommend? Seems to be a lot of difference between modern and classic geometry.

Looking to buy a reynolds/columbus frame anywhere up to £120.

I would you would be looking between 21.5 and 22.5in ctt frame depending on what you refer and the frame geometry.
