Motorcycle and Scooter appreciation

Fuck. Seriously considering this as I seriously need to get away. But have to get the Kat prepped first as she's running a bit ragged due to out of balance carbs.
Also I'm paranoid about being on the ferry, I'm the world's worst when it comes to a scuff or scratch on the bike. If an indicator got cracked I'd be forced to kill someone.
Plus, accommodation and security when we're on the trip. I'll bring a good lock and a cover but what about accommodation? Pip, pip.

I understand your concerns. If I had a bike like yours I would be worried. I have been on the ferry with my motorbike for years and never had any damage. The only problem is the straps they put to secure it run onto the seat. They put a big cushion in between to protect but the foam will be really compressed and weak stiching (like on an old aftermarket seat cover like mine) can be a bit damaged. On the other hand this is what garantees the bike will not fall if the sea gets nasty... I suppose having a central stand is a plus...

I think that considering the areas we will be visiting in France, and providing we are being reasonnable as how we park and where, the risk of bike theft would be lower than London...

Now if you need to kill someone, I won't help if you need to deal with the local authorities!!
