Can anyone remind me how to work out how much rearward dropout movement I will get by reducing my chainring size?
Tester, I've seen you refer to it, but can't remember where.
At 48/18 my rear wheel is 'slammed' in the track dropout. I need to move it back to accomodate some SKS mudguards. Trying to work out if a reduction of a couple of teeth at the front (in time for winter) or new chain is in order.

Does that make sense?
EDIT: Found it on SB.
