It may seem to some that I have a long memory, but I can tell you it is not limitless, and I'm afraid the answer to your question is lost in the mists of the primeval swamp. I'm not sure that anyone even knows when our existing record was set.
We do have a Hounslow - Newbury and back record on the books, but I guess Loz chose Worthing because of the really excessive numbers of traffic lights between Hounslow and Maidenhead.
