I can see why my old club, Brighton Mitre, had a Worthing-and-back record, but why does Hounslow have one*? Surely being the first out-of-town stop on the ancient Bath Road would suggest such destinations as Bath, Bristol and Cardiff? Also, with the turn off to the South West just outside Hounslow, you could be expected to have records to Salisbury, Exeter and Lands End.
*I think I may have an answer - looks like Worthing might be the closest point on the sea coast, depending on how you define the boundary between the Thames estuary and the North Sea.
