  • That softshell looks nice..........and not too pricey ;O)

I want a Rapha one, but can't justify the price.....I will have one, one day!!

  • I have the new winter softshell and it is good, it has come through the cold snap with flying colours and it thankfully washes ok too.

I like the look of thems. Sizing seems a bit obtuse though. Im usually a 38-40 chest unsure of which one to go for? Can you give me some advice re sizing in real life?

    Ta

  • You need to go Morvelo there's a write up on their kit on here velofixie.blogspot.com

  • The Shutt VR blog has put my report up from a ride few weeks back:

  • Never heard of this brand before but the stuff looks pretty good and i like that its a small company, British and seems actively into cycling.

  • I've got some of their coolmax bibs. They're the tiniest bit short in the leg for me, but the pad is excellent and really comfortable.

  • Anyone had reason to deal with S VR from a customer service point of view in recent weeks?

  • I emailed them about a week ago with a stock query. Never received a reply.

  • I emailed them about custom kit for 300 cyclists and no reply.

    :(

  • Their twitter feed still looks active, so I presume they are still in business. Not sure how long they will stay that way if they are ignoring potential orders for 300 sets of kit.

  • I bought the softshell last year, the one they described 'same material as Assos'

    Absolute bolleaux

  • OK, I just had a bit of a bizarre interaction with them. I'm a bit hesitant to reveal too much about it at this stage as I want to get a bit more concrete info. Does anyone on here actually know them at all?

  • Fwiw, I have dealt with them in the past. Unfortunately the sizing is bit hit and miss, but have to say the customer service was excellent.

  • In 2010 they were ace. Stitching on one of my jerseys was unravelling and after I posted it for repair they sent me a new one promptly!

  • Does anyone on here actually know them at all?

Haven't bought anything from them in a while, but have been on an organised weekend ride with them and have their sales and marketing director as a contact on Facebook. That any use?

re: Pascalo's post above...I had the same service when holes appeared above my Sportive LE jersey pockets, sent back and replaced with no hassles.

  • Cheers for the heads up. You have a pm
