• London are voting on it currently (to allow non-London players to be drafted/register/etc in this year's league).

One of the major developmental issues non-London teams and players have is being able to maintain the progress made in the summer tournaments, but with smaller scenes/worse playing conditions, inevitable there is a falling off of quality and available challenge over the winter.

I understand where you're coming from Neil, but bear in mind that if you're all traveling to London then there will be less bike polo being played in RoUK scenes (meaning potentially less new players for you and the decline of your numbers for future years).

In my opinion the success of your Summer months should be based around how many new players you manage to pick up, usually the new players that stick it out over the Winter are the ones that get the bug, meaning you have a solid number of (committed) new players for the next summer season.

But yeah: come to London whenever you like, we often have Cambridge/Brighton come and visit for throw-ins and the like.
