  • Hi all,

got a Vitus 992 frame I've had laying around (trying to fund a new bike) so this is next on the list to go.

Great condition, but has a few scrapes and scratches from use. 54cm from centre BB to top.
Frame + parts need a very, very good clean! They are all mechanically perfect.

    Comes with:

    .Vitus 979 frame + forks
    .Vitus pantographed headset
    .Vitus pantographed seat-post
.Cinelli giro bar + cinelli stem
    .Unbranded index shifters
    .Charge spoon saddle (£20 extra, it's brand-new)
    .Shimano Ultegra crank
.Shimano Tiagra brakes (needs new cable and rear brake needs pads

No cracks/bends/dents to the frame at all. Screw-on dropout has the bottom broken off, no damage to the frame at all, just needs a new one.

    £250, open to offers.

I also have parts to almost complete this bike (wheels, dura-ace pedals, chain) so please contact me!

  • This is 992 not 979.

    Edited.

    Thank-you!

  • No worries.

  • Kinda looking for one of these.

    What's the top tube measurement?

    Fancy a swap for a 56cm 979?

Have you checked all the bonds are holding up? have you ridden it?

  • How Much for an almost complete bike and what parts would be missing?

  • How Much for an almost complete bike and what parts would be missing?

    Pic of almost complete:

I'll also throw in Christophe toe clips pedals.

What you need to finish it:

    .new brake + gear cables
    .Rear mech
    .Front mech
    .Chain

I also have a variety of wheels to choose from, I've got fixed-gear wheels or geared:

To have the bike fixed-gear with a set of Miche hubs on Rigida (rear) and Mavic (front) rims, I'd want £320. All you'd need is to take the small chainring off the crank and add a chain.

  • Did the rear derailleur hanger snap off?
