SLX seatpost size?

I have an 80's Benotto SLX frame

From what I can tell most SLX frames from different manufacturers seem to have a 27.2mm seatpost

I was told my frame was also 27.2mm, but the post seems a little tight

Are SLX frames all the same diameter seatpost wise?

Some seat posts fit better than others. Try another 27.2 seat post.

Should usually be 27.2mm.

Check the seat tube is nice and clean.

some of us ned to see PICTURES.... comon, don't hold out on me man. An SLX Benotto is what i need... comon!

PS my benotto (not SLX) is 26.6 but you're probably right. take it to a shop!
