Sure we've all had these, but this morning was my worst 'oh shit' moment recently
Coming down Great Eastern ST. some idiot passenger opens his door with me a few meters behind, I shout as my first reaction, go slightly towards the left, he half shuts the door and I narrowly miss it, only for me to be pretty much against the curve, I felt my pedal scrape the curve on it's rotation back up and I straightened up.
One of those mm's difference and I would have been on my arse type moments.
All I could do after was stop and check I was still there before turning to see the passenger waving his arms up as if I was in the wrong. Speechless I gave him the finger and cycled off.
