I had my first fixed gear nicked from outside the pub i was drinking in, reported it and accepted that my bike was gone, got on with life bought another one etc. and then one day i get a phone call from my best mate saying they have seen it being ridden and followed it back to the guys house... long story short i got my bike back ;)
