i am involved in CPC driver training, one of lorry drivers most frequent complaints is about cyclists running red lights. a lot of other motorists will make the same complaint, and it does have an effect on the way they treat and perceive cyclists.
i have also been crashed into when waiting at red lights by cyclists jumping them, and have had a few very near misses when idiots have run red lights when I am riding through a green phase
so either you are lucky or an utter idiot
You probably haven't been rammed from behind by a car while waiting at a red light.
No cyclist jumping a red light has ever affected me whilst cycling. I have been riding on the roads for over 25 years. So how does this work? We are all idiots for not having a similar experience to you?
