• Festival number 6 was pretty amazing this weekend, set in Portmeirion where the prisoner was filmed, it was a surreal place to be. Spiritualized / New Order / Primal scream headlined, well worth a visit next year. http://louderthanwar.com/festival-number-6-live-review-picture-special/

Hey Boo - I was at Number 6 as well - what a magical place for a festival!! There was too much to see and do and I know I missed loads of things.

It was the best festival I have been to just for the sheer variety of things to do, the surreal surroundings and the wonderful people who just seemed amazed they were there.

Well worth the 7 hour drive from Brighton and I'll be going again next year!

I'm a massive fan of The Prisoner - I'd have loved to go to Number 6!

I've been to two festivals this year - Deershed Festival and Ramsbottom Festival. I know they both have an animal in their names, but there's no fettling of wildlife involved, I can assure you.

I honestly thought I'd never go to a festival, as I assumed they were just a place for massive pumpers to go so they could boast about being off their tits while setting fire to a chemical toilet, but Deershed is so fucking chilled! Real ale aplenty, folky type music mixed with some livelier stuff, great food, a fairground for the kids and a circus Big Top filled with tonnes of kids entertainment. Really varied and great fun.

Ramsbottom festival was similar - small scale, really chilled and some ace music. I wouldn't go to most festivals out there, but I'll be attending these two on a regular basis.
