I called out a nodder/bellend this morning - did the usual pulled on the outside of happy queuing cars and cyclists, middle of junction at lights - they go green and he pulls away so slowly on his Brompton that folks were braking everywhere to avoid this plum in the middle of the road - when I called him out on this with some colourful language he took offence stopped at the next lights asked me what my problem was - told him - fair play he apologised when he realised he was wrong but then said ' I was trying to get away from the car behind me...' at which I pointed out that if he had joined the queue like the rest of us the car wouldn't of been anywhere near him...total idiot with no awareness at all...I have no problem with folks getting a move on or being 'in a hurry' but pulling into the middle holding up all the traffic and cycling like a bellend at 8.30am will get a mouthful off me.
