Last night I witnessed first hand idiocy to the highest degree as a pedestrian. Crossing when all lights at a 4-way junction were red someone decides that undertaking 2 cyclists on the inside of a bus was a good idea. I happen to step out into his path just as he was visible, narrowly missing him. I shouted after him, calling him an idiot in perhaps more colorful language, when he turned around, got up onto the pavement and started squaring up to me. The usual exchange took place and before i knew it he was swinging at me with his D lock. Utter prick.
I did come up with a fantastically witty response to his comments... by the time I got on the train
