52km birthday ride, fixed, with gf, geared, from Hackney to Epping then across to Waltham Abbey
via Copping Hall (which was a surprise as had never heard of it)
A visit to Upshire Village then onto Waltham Abbey for lunch at the Welsh harp pub
Then back Along the River lea (under the M25):
for a birthday beer at the Anchor and Hope in Hackney.
Was a fine day.
